Beaver Nest exists to solve Australia's housing delivery crisis through industrialised modular construction. We manufacture complete, fully fitted-out modular units in our Chinese factory — compliant with Australian NCC 2022, WaterMark, SAA, and NatHERS 7-star standards — and deliver them ready for crane installation on Australian sites.

Beaver Nest's structural system is built around a thick-walled galvanised rectangular hollow section (RHS) steel frame — minimum 3mm wall thickness, hot-dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 — with a certified design life exceeding 70 years. T

 

The system has been independently tested and certified against Australian building code requirements across four critical compliance domains, enabling direct project approval without costly post-delivery rectification or re-engineering.

Structural Performance

  • Seismic design to intensity 7 (equivalent to AS 1170.4 requirements)

  • Maximum fire resistance rating of 2 hours (FRL 120/120/120)

  • Wind load compliance to AS/NZS 1170.2 for Regions A–C.

  • Structural certification is provided by accredited Australian engineers.

WaterMark Certification

  • Complete bathroom pods, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures carry WaterMark certification (Licence No. 060175, valid to May 2030), issued under the AGA Certification Scheme.

  • Zero post-delivery plumbing rectification is required.

SAA Electrical Standards

  • All electrical components, switchboards, and appliances comply with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and relevant SAAstandards.

  • Electrical rough-in is completed in-factory and certified for direct connection by a licensed Australian electrician on site.

Fire Protection & Weather Resistance

  • External wall systems are tested to BAL-29 bushfire attack level.

  • Cavity wall construction with reflective foil insulation achieves NatHERS 7-star thermal performance.

  • Fire-rated wall and floor assemblies are independently tested to AS 1530.4.
